Academy Class Events Booking Conditions

1) Registration and Payments

What Your Payment Includes

Your registration for attendance at the Academy Class Larry Jordan lecture using the on-line booking system includes the training session itself (at the venue you have selected), a workbook, morning and afternoon refreshments and a buffet lunch. It also allows you a discount on future Academy Class training as follows: £150 off the price of a public scheduled class. No other promotions can be used in conjunction with this offer.

Payment Period

Bookings and payments can be made on our event website: www.eventbrite.com . All payments must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the event you wish to attend.

Late Bookings

Any booking made less than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the event you wish to attend must be received with accompanying payment or clear advice of how the payment was made, and will be subject to availability.

2) Cancellations (To be notified to Academy Class by e-mail)

(i) In the event you cancel your booking with us including any reason provided under Force Majeure the following schedule of charges will be applied against final invoice total:

  1. Cancellation received by 13th July 2009 at 17.00 (GMT)
    50% refund of Registration Fee
  2. Cancellation received after 17.00 on 13th July 2009
    No refund of Registration Fee will be possible

(ii) In the event we cancel your booking with us the following schedule of repayments will be made:

  1. In the unlikely event that we cancel the Larry Jordan lectures completely, you will be refunded 100% of invoice total.

(iii) Non-Arrival

  1. No refund will be entertained for non-arrival at your booked event, and your place will not be transferable to another event without express written agreement from Academy Class.

3) Force Majeure

When we use this term in the conditions it means any unusual or unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control.

This may include war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, health pandemic, fire, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

4) Changes to the Programme

In constructing the Academy Class Larry Jordan lectures, certain arrangements have been entered into with suppliers in advance of the publication of this webpage.

Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the itineraries for the events as they appear on our website, in the unlikely event that Academy Class considers it necessary through whatever reason including Force Majeure to change the destination, date, venue and or programme then Academy Class strictly reserves the right to change, amend or cancel any specific event without notice.

In this case every effort will be made to provide a substitute destination, date or event although Academy Class may not be held liable for such curtailment, cancellation or substitution.
You are advised to check the event website for any last minute changes to the event schedule.

5) Special Needs

It is incumbent upon you to notify us by means of the booking form of any disability, dietary problem or general condition that requires separate or special attention.

6) Applicable Law

In the event of a dispute arising between you and Academy Class which is unable to be resolved amicably between either or all parties concerned, these conditions shall be governed by English Law and the parties to these conditions submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
